As of just now, it appears that I'm on board to get the Medicaid-covered "snort and poke" version of Ketamine (Spravato) at that same clinic in Reno that administered my original IV infusions.

Medicaid is "cracking down" and not paying for Ketamine sessions for "bipolar" patients.

I just left a message with my psychiatrist in Reno, asking for a new referral for Ketamine therapy, with the bipolar diagnosis removed.

I expect no issue with this request, as it was he that told me some months ago that Ketamine clinic was finally able to bill Medicaid again for the Spravato version of Ketamine, and he has and has read my Autism assessment report, so he's fully on board with the new diagnosis ("just" depression and anxiety, no bipolar).

I’m being forced to stop LTD, and retire with pension on 1st February 2024.

I’ve been eligible to retire since June 2022, but I was allowed to delay making it formal so my pension would grow.

I thought I could actually wait ten more years, but alas - I must give three months’ notice in October and then the gig is up with LTD.

The happy news is I’ll be getting a huge bump in pay. :P

I was under the impression I’d lose money but being the clod I am, I thought wrong.

They also said I was really lucky because everything worked out in the best possible categories. People whose work, disability, or retirement dates are just slightly different than mine get way less.

Thank you, universe — and honourable mention to me for breaking my arse all those years.

I done good.

Does 'LTD' stand for 'long term disability'?

Congratulations on your increasing economic prosperity. :)

Found a cache of my partner's old session recording tapes... and a rough demo from a band he was in that I didn't even know about. I know his buddies from his last band, and I have promo stuff from the one before that, but... a punk/ska-ish band?? Never would've dreamed it.

It's so nice hearing his voice again, and getting to hear him make his buddies laugh.
