In my experience, keeping my Mom's dogs and cats fed was the ONLY demand that I never let slide when I was home alone during my lowest ebbs.
There's something about the hungry innocence of an animal's face at your bedside to motivate one to get the f**k outta bed and feed them!

My ex has close to a hundred yard birds, and thousands of fish in her geothermal pond to keep her motivated...

I would like to stroke my cat without feeling the need to wash my hands afterwards (for OCD reasons).

I am usually more worried about micro particles or fur that isn't visible to my naked eye, being present on my hands.

It is sad because I really like stroking my cat/tickling its belly.
