I wouldn't say I'm shy... Certainly not outgoing though. I'm just quiet most of the time

Shy - Not really good at making conversation/eye contact with new people

At my strongest, I can use both of these in a good balance. I can be pretty outgoing for a while... and when I start to doubt stuff, I can pull myself back up should I fall... I will quickly get back on my feet. And I like to think that the natural shy part of my character is used as my own sorta charm, if I can balance the 2 I have a healthy balance going on here.

At my weakest, I'm one hell of a frustrated shy guy who wants out NOW! lol still a pretty respected guy in these situations which is a very good thing... but I don't realize it at all... and I get really paranoid and lots of stuff...

Outgoing.

Just not extroverted. I believe there has been a discussion about the differences between these two terms. Someone who is extroverted approaches other people all the time, because for him it is necessary to fill up his energy by socialising. I don't need to associate with other people to make me happy, but I'm not shy.

I'm not capable of talking to people I have no reason to talk to. It is illogical and a waste of time.

Mostly shy these days, tho apparently I was the opposite as a young child... I just became more and more introverted as I got older, say age 8 onwards.

I am only outgoing with people I know and trust.

Shy. I really didn't feel that way until adolescence. I had always been a loner for the most part, for example in elementary school I used to find the deserted part of the recess yard and hang out there and mess with bugs and stuff all by myself, but this was a choice, when I chose to play with other kids I would, but I preferred solitude then.

Painfully shy- I'm very quiet, I blush and get easily embarrassed, and I'm slow to warm up to others.
