Oh well, it all worked out in the end, didn't it, bb?

Trustpilot is good for leaving 'honest' reviews.

Just talked to my bf on the phone, and he sent me some photos of him when he was younger.

I've explored my new town by google maps pretty extensively, so it isn't entirely unfamiliar in the flesh. And I'm not far from a bus line, and I'm already familiar with its stops lol.

I also won a set of four perfume bottles, one of them is for males and I'll give it to my uncle Jan who is turning 81 in four or five days as his birthday gift :)

I won a game of scrabble. And I got to use the word "qaid".

Wait, that wasn't even today anymore. S**t. I need to go to bed.

Crossing the street isn't so hard, and once there, I can walk a long ways without having to wait for traffic again. There are 7 blocks between major roads I can walk north/south on that side of the street, then 8 blocks I can walk east/west, on those major roads. The beauty of the grid layout is there are sidewalks everywhere. But the third side of that 7-by-8 block square is too developed to walk uninterrupted. So my walks will be U-shaped. Not ideal, but it works. The center of that big square is lots of trees and...not sure what else...so the grid layout is interrupted and there isn't a lot of traffic. I lucked out being right on the edge of it!

I can walk west of here, too, on the northern of those east/west major roads, so I guess my walks could be 4-shaped and not just U-shaped lol.

There are hamburgers within walking distance. Oh, dear. The grocery store's a bit of a walk in the other direction, and a major intersection to cross, but it's walkable, too.

The food coop in my new home town is actually useful, and close enough to a bus line.

I was up late last night, got a full night of sleep, and didn't sleep absurdly late this morning. It's rare to get all three of those these days.

perfect weather

zero symptoms, zero physical pain, nobody bothered me today
