Saying I was born during the 1900s makes me feel like I'm a lot insanely older than I actually am, even though it's technically the truth.

I do not like having long fingernails. When they start to grow long, I always end up feeling more aggressive. As soon as I cut them, I feel much calmer.

I can't stand having my nails too short.
Probably has to do with clubbing from hEDS, but it does make touchscreens a little difficult.
It makes me really good at scratching itches though, as they're long and curved, but not sharp.

I have clubbing on all my fingers on my right hand, but not on my left hand. I assumed it is because I fell into a campfire when I was 3 years old and severely burned that hand. But, I also have hEDS, so perhaps the clubbing is because of both the burns and hEDS ? My right index fingernail is so clubbed. It is SO sharp when it's long. My older brother used to tell me with the way it is shaped, I could rip into someone's chest with it (he was playing a lot of Mortal Kombat when he said that lol) I am able to tear open a lot of bags and packages with it when it's long. I call it my talon.

I don't have any fattening, just the curved nails so all my nails are talons. One thumbnail keeps snapping off across the bed thanks to having it slammed in a cabin door as a baby, but the rest have drawn blood. When I say they're not sharp I mean they're quite thick, so the edges aren't as fine as my partner's and scratch more pleasantly with way more pressure.

I nurse a theory that any ship named Titanic, leaving Southampton on the 14th April in any given year, on a course to New York, will fail to reach its destination due to some unforeseen circumstance. The universe, for some unfathomable reason, simply won't allow it.

Over the past couple months, my relationship with my roommate has gone from "acquaintances hoping to possibly become friends" to "he's my mother and I'm 5 years old".

For nearly two decades I've been telling myself that surely NTs can sometimes make a drop of sense, but they still haven't given me any evidence that that's the case.

Time is commonly representated graphically by a line. Sometimes I wonder whether a better representation isn't a circle expanding outwards in all directions with 'now' being the circumference and every independent point of observation existing on that circumference. I like it because it allows for different perspectives on the same historical events.
