It's the kind of challenge where a child is becoming like their parent.


I cringe at the very thought of becoming like my mom when I was younger.
The her now is fine compared to those earlier years but... There's a lot I don't want from that either.

Better before turning 30 than realizing before I even get a kid or be a caretaker to a ward.


I know it's more work but...
At least it's not just me. At least this has a source. At least I have an external reference.
And definitely countless accounts, countless studies of this phenomenon amongst humans as individuals, relationally and collectively...

I like the noises coming from the other flats as well...it keeps me connected to the real world

My nephew decided to switch to online school, so he’s going to come over most days and do schoolwork with my son. He’s one year older. It’s great because they’ll be able to interact and help each other with this or that when they are struggling with something. My nephew is great at math, and my son’s special interest is history.

They are BFFs.

Hi!! I'm new to the forum

I'm thinking that I'm exhausted and have to shower and eat and even that sounds tiresome. And also that I'm angry that my family is so toxic that they forced me to act normal for so long, and I was only diagnosed as an adult because of this. I suffered so much in my childhood and I didn't have to.
