I AM SO F*CKING SICK OF EVERYONE IN THE SONIC FANDOM, THE MARIO FANDOM, AND THE LOONEY TUNES FANDOM HATING ME! I'M SICK OF HAVING NO FRIENDS IN THESE FANDOMS! THEY THINK I'M STUPID UGLY AND DUMB AND ANNOYING! THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO LIKE THESE THINGS WHO LIKE ME ARE THE 99% OF THE FANS WHO ARE PEDOPHILES! I DON'T WANT TO HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO BEFRIEND GROOMERS BECAUSE IT'S ALL I HAVE LEFT AND THE NORMAL FANS WHO DON'T GROOM MINORS OR SEXUALIZE UNDERAGE CHARACTERS LIKE ROUGE ALL HATE ME AND THINK I AM STUPID! I apologize for venting, and I apologize for bringing up triggering topics... I just want 20-24 year old friends in these fandoms who aren't the 99% of creeps in each fandom...

You don't have to apologize. It's perfectly normal to be feeling all this anger and frustration, and we need to use our words to tell others how we feel, whether they want to hear it or not. Too bad society forces us to bottle up our anger and frustration until it explodes.

I think you're incorrect about how many people are pedophiles within those communities.

I'm not a judgemental bully b***h. I was groomed by a fan of Sonic and LT at 15, but have been silent about it because I was under a screenname I no longer use, and he was forced to delete any proof.

It's still probably not fair to blame an entire community on the basis of meeting a creep, even if trauma contributes to why you're doing it.

In practice it's likely to create an us vs. them dynamic, since ultimately fandoms are part of one's identity and people can be pretty unpleasant when they feel their tribe is being attacked and accusations of pedophilia are among the worst slanders that can be made against a group in our society.

Since you're hoping to participate in those communities writing them off as terrible people isn't a good way to positively engage with other people in those communities.

I'm not accusing you of being judgmental, I'm saying levelling those accusations against entire communities based on a bad experience with one person is likely to be seen as judgmental by other people in those communities. People don't like being judged as guilty because of something a stranger they never met did.
