My cheap nasty little blood pressure meter is starting to look like it's giving fairly repeatable results, and it's quicker and easier to use than the posh one that broke the other day. It does exaggerate high readings, but I've characterised its bias. And the actual results I'm getting are reassuringly normal most of the time. And I've written a computer program to calculate the results and take the average. It shouldn't be beyond me to extend it so that it saves the results to a file in a convenient format.

Facebook has awarded me a Top Fan Badge. I'm so proud I could burst.

Funny thing is, those badges are for interacting a lot with a page, and the only interaction I've had with the page in question was to ask about a cardigan I accidentally left behind when I was at their place last Sunday. That and a couple of likes. Standards for being blinged up aren't what they used to be.

Thanks. According to my limited research, it's Facebook's AI rather than the page owners that hands out these virtual gongs, but I could be wrong. It's a local music club I started going to a week or two ago, and I went down well when I played, so it would make some kind of sense if it was the page owner behind it.

I didn't get my cardigan back yet, but it's been found and they're keeping it safe for me till I manage to collect it.
