It seems like a lot of people here don't drink soda, so I was wondering how much people drink?

I probably drink it once every 2 weeks at the least and 3 times a week at the most.

EDIT: I may be one of the few that drinks soda, but I am one of the few that doesn't drink alcohol. And never will. :)

I generally find soda pretty disgusting.

My parents don't buy sodas anymore, so I can't drink soda very often. If my parents still bought them, though, then I'd probably be drinking a can each day.

I usually drink Gatorade, milk, and tea. I rarely drink soda.

I would drink "Pop" all day every day if I could.

One two-liter bottle of diet soda per day, sometimes two.

I drink juice, milk and water just like you, plus soda. However, I didn't drink tea (of coffee for that matter). Oh, by the way, it might be good to know that I only drink caffiene-free soda.

I was drinking a lot of Mountain Dew and Monster Drinks for a while last winter because I was truck driving. I really can't recommend Monster Drinks I believe they're addicting and when I see them in the store I still crave them.

I finally quit the trucking job and since then tried to cut way back on the soda. I've also lost 10 pounds I gained on the job.

I used to drink it 3+ times a day. Then I actually noticed the enamel of my teeth has worn down incredibly--and I had perfect teeth (never a cavity, no braces, nothing ever pulled, etc). I stopped drinking right away, and I never drink pop at all now.

Me as well, but I drink water instead of tea. I will sometimes brew myself a cup of coffee in the morning, but I rarely finish it. It's more for the smell in the house, lol. I just found Gatorade for 88 cents for the big bottle, and that is a SUPER deal where I am...so I was in heaven, LOL.

Nice. If I wake up and I'm really tired, I'll make coffee. But mostly the beverage I drink is bottled water/ tea. I've read that in diet soda for instance and some diet yogurts , the aspartame is bad for you, and if drinks contain high fructose corn syrup I mostly stay away from it then. So for me it's not really about what the drink is, but more whats in it

Aspartame is actually one of the worst things we can ingest. In my opinion it should be illegal. I have an excellent e-book on it, but I don't know how or if I can upload PDFs to this site.

That would be cool to read ! I've read former secretary of defense Donald Rumsfeld was CEO of Searle, the conglomerate manufacturer of aspartame. I'm not quite sure if he directly benefited after aspartame expanded throughout the last 10 years , but maybe he had a role in it. He was a major player with the FDA to get it approved.

I think it was something like five of the people involved in having it approved were involved with Searle. I don't remember any of the names though, I have more read about the effects of ingesting it.
