I've found that I live in my own little world. I've been living in this world going on to 8 years next summer. All that you need to live in this little world of mine, is a computer, Internet connection, Internet addiction and a support site. Everybody is my family member in this little world of mine and it's like one big computer house that houses over 50,000 people. My own little world is, are you ready?

I like that! I'm in the process of making 'my world' more mine...an idea that seems to scare therapists. LOL

I have always sort of done my own thing and have gotten similar comments before. I just feel like I mutually coexist with other people and they have to reel me in when they need me.

I live in three worlds: the 'real' world, the Internet and my imaginary world. I use the Internet and my imagination to escape from the 'real' world, but the Internet and even my imagination are not completely free from problems.

Actually, I have too. But it was not really as good as it is now.
Knowing what was previously "wrong with me" has turned into a big "what's better about me" since I realized I operate under the AS/OS. It's like people notice me now.

Is AS the neurological equivalent of Linux?

Indeed, isn't Linux generally more reliable?

That's how I explain AS to people.
NT people are running Windows in their brain
AS people are running Linux in their brain.

Thing is... there are many, many different flavors of Linux out there.

I heard this quote on a autism documentary recently...
"If you've met one autistic...... you've met one autistic."

There's many different flavors of Autism too, so I think the analogy holds true. Many kinds of NT also, but there's enough version of windows accommodate.

I wish my user would switch to the graphical terminal instead of using tty2 all day long.

I feel like NTs are running mac. It makes more sense. I hate mac btw.
