People you REALLY believe have AS

I'm not talking about some random celeb who shows a few traits, or some random dead guy, I'm talking about people who are still alive who scream AS to the point were you would be surprised if they didn't have it. I have two: Tarn Adams (creator of Dwarf Fortress) and Randall Monroe (creator of XKCD). Anyone have any others?

The UnaBomber Ted Kaczynski.

Famous people or acquaintances / family members? Many acquaintances / family members of mine have a few traits of ASD, especially my father and my uncle-in-low on my mother's side. These two people are really hard to get along with. It's ironic how I feared the angry outbursts of my uncle-in-low as a child and was shocked by the intelligence that I too have a similar behavioral pattern tied to my meltdowns...

As for known people, sorry, I can't name any.

Why would you rather believe that he has autism?

Because people with asperger are normal apparently. And they are not so introverted.

I think that he has autism too, except that I include AS within autism, so I will just say that the UnaBomber is the only person I can think of whom I strongly believe to be autistic.

Not everyone diagnosed with AS is "normal apparently", and some are extremely introverted.

Or maybe he has schizophrenia:

I've been wanting to say this for a month over a year now, but I'm to scared to say so in fear of being attacked.

Drum roll....Mick Avory of The Kinks. I'll tell you why. His eye contact is way off on the majority of the old pictures, he never really posed in the majority of the pictures that have taken of him, past and present, he has a flat effect somewhat flatter than the usually Cockney accent, he has the cat face with the soft features plus very high cheek bones and he has a very large head. He also seems to have poor posture and he doesn't usually look at the camera during interviews. I'm not just saying that because I'm obsessed. If a certain person contradicts me, there will be consequences. You know who you are.

He also got very excited when he saw a digger or a steam roller and he knew every make that was around in 1964, because that was one of his special interests next to drumming and food.

Ok, I didn't actually read the entire thing yet, but I just did, and for some reason I find myself crying. Anyway, he sounds even more autistic than I though, and once I got to the part where he talked about him rocking I had absolutely no doubt in my mind.

Neal Stephenson would agree, but I don't know. Much as I adore Toady and have an affinity for his uber-simulation. I might ask him though it'd be slightly cheeky.

I'm not looking if the person is diagnosed, I'm looking for if they are "diagnosable". He has little desire for social interaction since childhood, he stims, and he is intensely focused on DF enough for it to be his life, I think that's the diagnosis criteria right there, give or take some stuff.
