People used to say that I looked a lot like my dad when I was little and never said I looked like my mom, but now, some people say I look more like my mom and others say I look more like my dad. Some also say I look like both.

Edit: Sorry about the thread title typo. Also, my mom used to say I looked nothing like my "mother of father" but I disagree. I look a bit like her, she had dark brown eyes, dark brown hair and small feet, which I have all of. I think it's my height that totally through her off as I asked her this when I was 11 and was very tall for my age at that time and my Grandma was short. I am more at an average height now and both my parents are tall and everyone on my Grandma's side is short so I may have gotten "some" of her height genes.

Everyone said I looked more like my Mom's side of the family when I was younger. Actually for years everyone thought the guy up the street and I were brothers. But as I've gotten older some of Father's side of the family has crept in.

I look the way my Uncle Eric looked when he was younger. He looked a lot like the guy in my avatar.

I look more like my dad, and my brothers look more like my mom.

I think I look most like my aunt (one of my mom's sisters). I have a hard time seeing any resemblance to my parents.

I see more of my mom in me than my dad. Apparently also, I "have" my maternal grandfather's hands and my dad's feet.

When I was a baby/toddler, everyone said I looked like a miniature version of my mom. But now that I've grown up, I look nothing like her - or my dad for that matter.

I'm not adopted and I couldn't have been switched at birth, as my mom said that she had kept me in the hospital room with her after I was born.

I look far, far more like my mum than I ever do my dad.

Relatives say I look like my grandmother from my dad's side of the family but it seems there are my mom's brothers who see a little of my mom in me but my mom is very dark and I'm not. It's funny but most of our family goes from very light to very dark. My mom has been mistaken for being hispanic on many occasions while my niece, myself and my grandmother have been labeled sarcastically as "aryan" for our "nordic" looking features which I guess means blues and blonde hair. I don't have the very light blonde hair and blue eyes like my grandmother who actually is of German descent, just the dirty blonde with hazel eyes. :( My niece however is a spitting image of her.

Sorry was confused with title of thread btw. :?

I look a lot like my biological mother. Her whole family actually. But I've got my father's eyes and my skin is a few shades darker than theirs.

Funny enough, I also fit right in, lookswise, with my adoptive (real) mother's family.

Apparently I have my mother's features (people keep telling me) and my father's colouring (I don't know, I never knew him).

I have my Mom's eyes and cheekbones and as our eyes are relatively big and dark people tend to notice them more often so they say I look more like my Mom. Also, just like my Mom I have small waist and I've never had any problem with weight although I eat a lot. My smile, my nose and my height come from my Dad, as well as the natural color of my hair.

Everyone used to say I looked like my dad, when I was younger. All they could see was that we both had masses of dark curly hair. But, now my dad's hair isn't so dark and he doesn't have so much these days either. So, I think it's more obvious to everyone nowadays that I actually look like my mum. I look identical to my second cousin (my mum's side of the family), except she has straight red hair. Strangely, both of my parents have rather large noses and I mine looks very nordic (I think what Michael Jackson was aiming for, but sadly went way beyond it).

I look a lot like my mom. But whenever I am with my moms side of the family she accidentally me greg cause I look a LOT like what he would if he was the same age as me (pictures).

There was a post about nordic genes. It is a myth that norwegian origin means blond hair and blue eyes. All it means is that you don't have black hair. Vikings hated people with black hair so they killed anybody they saw with black hair. Germany was one of the places where Vikings ended up living.
