I have noticed on this forum there are many many people downright pissed off with the world and bitter about humanity in general. While this is fine if directed into a creative medium (I am an artist and a polite misanthrope that just waits for the good people to enter my life) or worked out with a therapist.

The results from bottling it is truly tragic and somewhere I have been before that I see many here are falling into. When you allow anger to build like a clot you are constantly feeling adrenaline surges and very tired form the sheer inertia required to keep such intense hatred alive. It consumes your will to try to solve things while working with humanity and breeds the grounds for people like Hitler who think they have to change the world in extreme ways (in the extremes; I imagine we are less violent than msot out there.)

The way I conquered this was venting all of it out through writing and music. I went through an entire notebook of lyrics almost, a lot of drawings and did a huge amount of bass playing. However, in the end, instead of feeling hate I just felt disappointment with optimistic realism for how things are now and have been looking for positive changes since. That being said, the generation now is awful and it will likely get worse next generation...I really hope I'm not the only polite misanthrope on this forum. Fnord seems to be one as well.

The extreme anger I felt led me to look into countercultural ideas that made me think communism was a viable ideal and led to paranoia which also led to conspiracy theories. Of course, since we relate to society through interests I grew very loyal to people that were anti-society overall and forced shared interests because isolation was a terrifying thought, so I became fiercely loyal to 2 idiots and it took one very kind mentor to pull me out of the squalor.

Such a viewpoint of humanity leads to a complete fallout of participation in society, and humans are by design a very social species. Without society everyone dies. That is why after an empire collapses we regroup and form a new government. Humanity is not pointless because they create the very things we become obsessed with; and what is life where you are just left to your obsessions? I was there and it grew so lonely and I just kept retreating back to the interests because they were the only resemblance of reality to me.

I urge those that feel such intense anger to seek psychological help.

Yeah I do agree with what your saying because Im guilty of that as well. And that is part of the reason why I am on meds without meds the negative thoughts we keep swirling and swirling around in my head and it'll get out of control. Then sometimes, I go and do something stupid and the social part of my brain just shuts down.

The problem with being aspie, your dealing with the NT world and your brain has a lack of development in certain areas to fully comprehend whats actually going on, in part. Also we deal with plenty of criticism and negative feedback that gets to us majorly. I think anyone that gets that much crap is gonna end up having mental problems in some way.

yes Ai_Ling, but my point is we can use these bad experience to grow rather than let them stagnate us. I do need to visit a therapist at some point but I don't let my rage consume me.

Humans are stupid and selfish monsters.

I don't hate them though, nor am I angered by such; it's not their fault they're utterly stupid and selfish.

By design, some of us aren't social creatures, just FYI and all.

Humans made space shuttles and satellites along with creating intricate forms of government. Social creatures have alrger brain structures. So they are not stupid.

Societal conditioning can make them quite stupid however.

And as far as selfishness it depends on severity and the individual person. Some areselfish monsters and others give until they don't have enough for their own subsistence.

I think it's important to change negative energy into positive in any way you can. I sought treatment and it was a benefit. This was after a lot of time spent on rage and frustration (usually taken out on myself.) It takes a certain amount of energy to ask for help and the fallout could be unproductive. It's awful to seek help and open up to somebody and then have them tell you something stupid. This has happened to me a number of times. But I did finally find a competent doctor and it did help.

I can sympathize Ann2011, there was a lot of self-repression that went with my hostility towards the world.

Unfortunately, I agree with this. I don't harbour particular hatred towards anybody in specific, or generally. I have a strong aversion to all people; whether they're NT or otherwise. Of course I find certain people more tolerable than others, but such is the way of life.

People are overall rather stupid and selfish, but the friendly and intelligent shouldn't have to suffer because of how the as*holes treat us.

O my god! They can make containers that are full of fuel and light one end on fire! Some intelligence there.

O my god again! They can make silly little groups than boss others around and bully those who aren't like them! Awesome intelligence there.

That's all primitive stuff there.

Dillogic, how much do you know about aerospace engineering? There's a lot that goes into it requiring many different forms of intelligence.

As far as politics go I agree though, humans could make communism work if they weren't so selfish. Sadly evolution is slow and I think we could agree that it'd be nice if we could accelerate it somehow.

One trait that NTs are good at is co-operation. I understand that it is a lot easier to cooperate when you feel like you are accepted into the crowd, so I get why us autistics can be bitter about humanity and uncooperative with the mainstream crowd.

To quote Corey Taylor of Slipknot, "we're the problem but we're also the solution."

Each side gives reason to hate the other, although admittedly I can't see it from their side.

True, hatred corrupts the mind and breeds more hatred, but if you overcome it you can stop that cycle.

People are far too divisive and when we condemn differences we blind ourselves to the potential for alliance. We are often the victim on this, but only the weak will reciprocate that hatred. Casting out the anger that destroys our inner selves frees us to actually resolve issues. Look at any damn presidential debate to see what I am talking about.

People should never, EVER, be trusted immediately; they have to earn it, but when your heart is led by irate philosophies than they will reciprocate the hatred and it will just grow.

HUmans can be quite vile and those that show selfishness, avarice, apathy towards everything, and laziness, then they have every right to be hated. Many humans are like this. But if you assume they are immediately, you miss those worth knowing.

Dillogic, your philosophies are the kind that eventually tear entire countries' infrastructure apart when the leaders have enough hate for each other and enter survival mode. Do you want to be part of the problem or part of the solution? Letting rage and frustration consume you truly condemns you to inability.
