I am 27 years old and still get asked for I.d to buy cigarettes(18 over here) and people are always quite stunned to learn I have 2 children.
my eldest son also has AS and is a lot smaller and younger looking than the other boys in his class.

I think the main reason I always looked young was that I hadn't exercised enough (or let's say AT ALL) throughout my whole life.

Also, the lack of sunshine & sex perhaps.

I tend to be mistaken for being older than my age than younger. I've been told it's the facial hair and my being reserved.

I was going to say yes, but then I put on some makeup for the first time in nearly a year and when I looked at myself in good light...

This past year has really done me in. :tired:

Clean shaven, I definitely look younger. However, I look closer to my age or older when I have any facial hair growing.

I think I look my age? (27) But I always get carded for alcohol and cigarettes (not mine, don't smoke). People are always surprised when they see 1986 as my birth year.

Unfortunately yes I'll be 50 next year and people still say "You don't look it" :roll:

yes. when Im clean shaven I look around 20. When I have a beard I look my age.

Hell yes, I do! I look at least ten years younger than my real age. I am constatly being asked for my ID when I go to bars and pubs. I have heard that looking younger is one of the common "traits" in AS.

it just makes me so mad when they ask what grade i'm in or they say 'oh you look like you're 13'. i'm 19. i think it's 'cause i don't wear makeup. i don't know.

Indeed. Many mistake me for being 12 years old while i am in fact 16. I think it is due to my short stature And my rather tiny mouth.
