Yes. Maybe it also allows us to see boring, meaningless stuff as mundane (and rightfully so)?

I do my tasks at work quicker and more efficient than the NT:s because I don't care about small talk.

It doesn't really make me suffer, yet it does make me enjoy things deeply. I think I enjoy those a lot more than non-autistic folks.

Music, literature, all kinds of subjects…. I gather so much knowledge and new ideas. I love it.

Furthermore it makes me more ''zen'' actually, I think. And I love not caring too much about other people's opinions. Just being happy that I exist.

I've learned at a very young age not to attack my autistic brothers and sisters on account of their special interests, because I knows how much it hurts first hand.
