(clicky)beautiful new Microsoft data center built inside an underground cave there is just something about that underground cave vibe that seems calming at least from my vantage point. wish I were a microsofty brainy type.

This would be my backup dream residence to my primary one that I would be a cactus farmer.

Maybe I could be a cactus farmer with a residence that is built over a cave, that is like this on the inside. Then it's win win all around for me.

That looks incredible, although I'd prefer access to sunlight.

I suspect those bright lights you see around the computer workstations are solatubes.

There is a cave house resort here.It was originally built by the Celestial Seasonings guy.He thought the world was going to end.It even has a helicopter pad.

I'd love to work in a place like that. I love the way that the LED lighting compliments the blue and green.

That looks pretty awesome, especially all of the glowy lighting. I think it'd be a really neat place to work if I was more of a "microsofty brainy type" person.

Apart from when I work with tiny components I prefer lower light levels, so sign me up!

I think that that would be a totally great and relaxing place to work; it reminds me of an aquarium somehow, and they are considered very relaxing. So totally unlike my current workplace...

Looks nice, and it'd be extra cool down there too. No need for air con. I was down an old mineshaft that was turned into a gallery once and at first I thought it was going to be a real claustrophobic experience, but when I got down there it was actually quite pleasant. I could have stayed down there all day.

That does look cool, but if it is in a cave, my claustrophobia may not allow it.
