I write music and just generally write.

Would there be any like-minded people around?

:)

I'm a very logical person but I am also very creative. The type of music I like composing is very different to the genres most people like to listen to. I good word for it would be "interesting". I do love my music though :).

I love to paint portraits, and paint what is in my head. So I have some very odd paintings in my room that I am proud of.
I also really love to sketch, and I have made new creatures to go along with the story in my head that I want to write about. I was in a special art class at my school, but I changed schools so now I'm in a silly one and we are making faces out of egg shells. :(
I also play guitar and paino quite well. I have made a few songs that I want to put into my story along with my creatures. They are all sad and what not, so I need to feel happy and make some good songs.

Music is one of the most powerful things for me. I love to sing, but I haven't been on stage in a while though.

I create songs with FLStudio V.5.0. :)

I don't want to move on to any other version, as I'm attached to version 5. :D

Music is my life... in the sense that I have a very good ear for it and it has been my obsession since I was 4/5. I also am voice trained and have a 3 octave range. I just sing for my own release though and become very embarrassed if someone catches me doing it. I apparently have a very good singing voice. I used to play the clarinet and piano but gave those up long ago. I really want to have a go at the flute and my brother might be giving me a spare as he used to be a prodigy in this area. He started playing at 11 and was at grade 8 with distinction by age 13. Met James Galway and everything but the pressure became too much for him. HE now teaches music and drama and plays many other instruments. Heh.

In terms of Art, I am an art lover, but not an artist in terms of a painter. My mother is an artist, as was my uncle(See the creativity forum, I posted his work in the favourite works of art thread). My area is photography. I have a natural eye for composition.

I also write, and would say this is my main skill. There Are examples of my writing in the creativity section.

Yeah, I love music and almost all types of art. I write (that's my speciality), play the guitar and piano, and draw.

Good to see so many artists!

:)

I'm having trouble with music at the moment because getting up on stage is such an intense thing for me.

I have a band and we've been playing for about 2 years, but I'm finding it harder and harder to get up there in front of all those people.

Having gone so long without knowing I had Aspergers I kind of learnt to throw myself into social situations even though I was terrified, but it's starting to ruin the whole experience because I can't just enjoy myself like I do sitting at home writing music.

I'm finding it a bit of a problem to have a gift for music that allows me to express myself so personally but then to have to get up in front of a room full of people and bare my soul like that.

It's a horrifying thought some nights, but I live for music so I try to fight it.

Used to have my own Big Band. I play trumpet, blues harp and a little keyboards. Still love to perform, now I mostly sing karaoke and enter karaoke contests.

Also used to draw a lot... don't really do that too much anymore though. (Not sure why.)

I am a musician in so far as I play piano and electric guitar but I am not particularly great at either. I have written a few little things in the past but none have really been any good and have just been for my own pleasure more than anything else.

I'm mainly a musician. I also write lyrics and enjoy making collages, although not often nowadays. I used to decorate my journals and notebooks with collages, to make them distinctive.

Musically, my main instrument is the guitar. My first instrument was the piano, which I studied formally, but I enjoy the freedom of the guitar more. I can also play some drums and bass, and I haphazardly sing :)

After many abortive attempts at forming a band, I finally have one with a good chance of working
