Exactly what it sounds like. Talk about food (history?, science?, Autism related?, whatever you want :P ) and show off your food creations.

Lockdown since March has me so bored that I've been taking pictures of food that we've cooked for my recipe word document. As you will guess, I am a vegetarian.

Grilled cheese with buffalo cauliflower wings, made this a few weeks ago
Image

Roasted vegetable pumpkin spaghetti, made this last week. Our newest addition, so good
Image

Crispy vegetarian tacos, current thing we're eating for dinners. Second picture is of just the taco guts.

I've made myself so hungry :help:

Your cooking looks healthy and delicious. My diet has changed a lot over the years and I’ve stopped being an emotional eater. I still have a once a week sweet. I love BBQ jackfruit, banana, oat and almond milk smoothies, kale, sushi (ika and maguro primarily) and roasted/steamed cauliflower.

I never drink soda but keep unsweetened herbal tea and drink that. I do have sensory issues to mayonnaise. There’s just something about it...

you can't post food porn like that and not provide the recipe.
Too cruel.

Thank you :). What I would give to have sushi again...

I've kicked my soda pop habit. I used to drink a 12 up to 24 pack of Mountain Dew every week. In the last 5 years I think I've had one maybe two pops while at the theater.

I don't like mayo as well, really most 'mystery' sauces/pastes like the unnameable red sauce and mustard.

I rarely eat Chinese food but I love boneless spare ribs and brown rice together.

Those buffalo cauliflower wings look great. Now I know what to do with the cauliflower I have left from the aloo gobi I made the other day. Usually I go with some lemon mustard marinade, but yeah, I wanna try that. Thanks. :D

Buffets usually aggravate my sensory issues.

Your stuff looks fantastic, Feyokien. When you have the time, I would love that cauliflower recipe :)

I love cooking, but very few people here are interested so I use other sites for it.

I bake fairly regularly, both sourdough and yeast bread and buns

I love making pastry too, although I rarely eat it myself, I only have a picture of cheddar saltines with sea salt and caraway seeds

Due to the blasted heatwave, I mostly survived on cold stuff lately:

Salads

Steak tartare

or homemade Carpaccio:

Probably disgusting to vegetarians and a lot of Americans, sorry for that

Found some vegetarian stuff made recently, I'm not a savage all the time :P

Homemade spicy wedges

Bruschetta

And truffle girasoli, as my Italian friend sends me a fresh food basket once in a while (I do the same)

Party! :bounce:

Fortunately, I keep my freezer full of portioned home-cooked meals so it could have been worse. But we had two awesome thunderstorms here recently and I feel a bit better :)
