"onomatopoeia" is a word derived from a sound associated with the thing the word means.

Like "murmur", "babble". Or like calling a bird by the sound it makes (like a "hawk").

Apparently the OP combined the word "onomatopoeia" to the word "imperialism". Resulting in a made up
third word ...which would mean "onomatopoeia taking over and dominating" if it were a real word.
