There may have been other threads about Canada, however this one is for random stuff that's neither political or esthetic e.g. no photos of beautiful lakes (unless there's a funny sign about moose in front of the lake).

The sort of humo(u)r should be appreciated by anyone who's an aficionado of Corner Gas or Letterkenny.

To begin, here's an exchange I had with a relative who was raised in Montreal and lives there now, to me this seems very Canadian.

Of course her grandmother would have most definitely ended the last sentence with ", eh?" rather than a period.

Yeah sure the whole country is a joke now, just like the rest of the world. Ha ha.

Trying to keep the thread alive, so this is sort of different. Anyway there's a liquor store near me that sells beers in singles, meaning that you just buy one can. I happened to buy this:

It was absolutely wonderful!

In this case the joke is on me, as I have no idea how I would get more, although I suppose I could ask the store. Ontario residents can have it delivered via the brewery web site but even people in other parts of Canada can't do that.

Say anything about Canada that could be thought humorous. Perhaps something about Mounties, they're always good for a chuckle, especially when they've handcuffed you and thrown you into the back of their squad car.

No, they only use horses ceremonially; they use cars like every other police force for regular duties.

Oh yeah, Malcom the Mountie always gets his can. Can't remember what was in the can though.

Almost like you can't believe anything you see on TV.
