Who likes having a bath or a shower - getting clean?

I know my sons will do anything to get out of a bath!

We live in Australia and it gets really hot. I love having a good bath!

Why do boys avoid baths???

I hope they're 4 minutes or less! Can't waste water!

We've been on tank water for 5 years so the boys have baths with only a few inches of water.

When they go to other people's houses - they think it's absolute luxury if the water actually covers their knees.

Most of the time they're four minutes or less. I have a little timer the GCCC sent.

Turn off the air conditioning - If the weather really is hot, they'll look forward to sitting in a puddle of water. That will cause them to eat less food too, so even more savings for you!

I like to shower daily, but this is mainly due to the fact that I can literally feel the oiliness in my skin and it feels yucky. Especially in my hair. I feel weighted down.
I like my showers almost scalding--- anything else feels cold.

I usually announce that something good will happen after the bath and that the first boy to get in the bath will have the first bath and therefore get the pick of the good things... (I'm specific usually ie: which desert plate etc).

then they fight for the bath.

Showering is okay.
Bathing is like drowning yourself in your own dirt...plus it consumes too much of the Earth's limited water supply.

It depends. Sometimes I hate showering (it's boring, plus I don't like having water falling on me), but sometimes it helps reset my system if I'm having overload problems.

mostly for times sake i shower. i dont really like it, because you are hot and then cold and then hot again. then if you have to shave your legs you have a balancing act on one foot. i shower daily because i cant stand to feel that sticky feeling when i am dirty, though. I do take a bath a few times a month. for me it is a luxury because i rarely have time for it and it uses a lot of water. Thats about the time i pull out all those girly facial and hair treatments not to mention the bubble bath. I like to give my skin a good scrub every once in a while with a mix of sugar, olive oil and a little peppermint or lemon oil. It doesnt sting like a salt scrub and it makes your skin soft and glow-ey.

I take showers, in the dark. We don't have a bathtub, but when I were to England to live with my online friend for two weeks, it was baths only.
My conclusion was that taking baths hurt.
