...And I'm surprisingly not nearly as nervous about it as I thought I'd be. I even made the appointment by myself! I'm not sick or anything, but I have a really infected armpit (I know, embarrassing). My mom gave it an 8/10 on how bad it looked and she's usually very light with these sorts of things. But anyway, I'll be going there for the very first time on my own at 1:30 this afternoon (three hours from the moment I'm typing this). The office is about two miles from here, so that's really easy for me. I've got the money and my insurance card ready. Wish me luck! :)

I hope so, too! I just really hope my underarm starts feeling better soon. It hurts!

Well hopefully a GP can handle it, the only reason I probably have a bit of a bad idea of them is that I once split my leg open to the bone and ended up getting needle after needle of painkiller so I could get it sewn up.

Thanks, guys! :)

Hopefully I can just get medicine or something for it. I'm not too fond of the thought of surgery. 8O

I'm back! Everything went just fine. But I have to go to another doctor's office on Wednesday morning (my mom will be coming this time, too) because I may need to have surgery done after all. The doctor also tested my blood in fear of me being anemic. He says my blood pressure is too low (90 over something), I don't weigh enough, and I'm "as pale as a vampire". But other than that and the whole underarm thing (which may be a cyst he thinks), I'm very healthy and lively. He also gave me a perscription, which we're picking up tonight.

It's good everything went fine. :) Good luck for Wednesday's appointment and (if they decide you need it) the surgery.

Yeah, I definitely have to go tomorrow. I probably will have to get the surgery, but there's still the chance I won't have to. I'll just have to wait and see.

I had a little pit problem a few years back. Just a little irritation. Noting a bit of extra scrubbing and some gold bond didn't fix up right quick. I did bring it to the attention of my GP though. She said I did the right thing and it was nothing to worry aboot.

If only this were that simple. It's inside of me and I can't just pop it or anything. It's too big and way too thick. *sigh*

a cyst?

neat!

think of it this way: If you get a cyst lanced and you get some on you, you have a better shot of meeting people of the opposite sex (if that's what you're into). Because - get this; cysts are backed up sebaceous glands and what's produced in your sebaceous glands? Pheromones!
