you see them in most disney-world related stuff on tv, these frozen constantly smiling plastic suits they got on, and they cant talk in them, so for some reason MICKEY IS A MUTE not only is he a mute, but he is overgrown.
ive seen a disney-made drawing of mickey next to a human, even next to walt disney himself, mickey's like 2,5 feet tall

and most of all
do i hate their vivid gesticulation, to make up for the muteness

ESPECIALLY
when they start using their legs, and throw these random dance-moves

im sweatting now :(

This would be solved if Disney hired dwarves (I believe that is an incorrect term to use, but I'm not meaning to use it with prejudice).

i have sometimes wondered why they dont hire "short/little/smaller/not-as-tall-as-the-local-average people".
it would suck to walk around all day making that lame mickey mouse voice tho.

i think what bothers me most of all is ITS NOT BELIEVABLE :(
it NEVER was!! !
not even when i was a dumb little kid, i never believed those were come-to-life real mickey, not even for a second. WHY do they use them? do people actually enjoy this?

then you got "disney on ice" thats what 2 hours of these as*holes non stop? skating around? my god...

When I was a little kid I used to be scared of them, but I do see them everywhere in places like Disneyworld.

they ARE scary, their static face, their constantly open mouth, their inability to talk, their exaggerated gestures :S :(

When I was 8, I felt really awkward around them when I was at Disneyland...
But for some reason I HAD to have all of the characters' autographs, even though I knew they weren't real and I could see a guy's sweaty head in the suit (the head wasn't connected to the rest of the suit very well).

I couldn't for the life of me figure out what 'Pluto' wanted as he pointed to his nose ( I had to put the autograph booklet on his nose so he could write apparently) and when I met 'Max' (Goofy's son) I wanted to high five him as a greeting but then he took my hand mid air and shook it 'cause I'm a girl.
AWKWARD.

*shudders*

Perhaps you should call them... vertically challenged?

Actually, according to Wikipedia:

Wikipedia wrote:
The terms "dwarf", "little person", "LP", and "person of short stature" are considered acceptable by most at this point in time.

So I don't think I needed to worry.

I hated Disney characters as a kid. They irritated the crap out off me.

We went to Disneyland in Florida and my parents made me stand beside all the characters for photos and I hated it.

My face was something like a cross between these... :?

Then stay far, far away from furry conventions.

Oh yeah, people in costumes definately freak me out. What scares me is the paranoia that there may not be a human under there....

Lol crazy, I know.

I've considered it and decided that midget/dwarf costumed characters would be even scarier 8O

I just remembered, there's a themepark over here that has THE scariest man/woman dressed up in doll suit costume ever.

My parents bought me a stuffed doll version of this guy and I always made sure it was somewhere locked up in a box, 'cause I swore one day it'd just come up to me in my sleep and kill me:p
