Ugh. I'm afraid I sent an e-mail to the wrong person, and I feel really stupid.

Awkward interactions are not fun.

Couple confessions from me today:
Today marks the first game of a three-game series (today, Saturday and Sunday) between the New York Mets and Seattle Mariners.

Two thoughts: I really wanted a Mets/Mariners World Series in 2000, but the Yankees foiled the Mariners then (had it happened, it would have been the first WS between two expansion teams, something that wouldn't happen for another 15 years, when the Royals and the Mets met up).

Secondly, I feel like if the uniforms pictured below are what they wore for at least one game (it's both teams' mid-1980s uniforms), my life would be complete. Here's to an awesome series!
