The word alcohol comes from the Egyptian/Arabic word 'kohl', which referred to the dark, thick eyeliner or cosmetics that were often used [and still are].

Can't you tell the kids have gone back to school this week.

The difference in the amount of traffic on the roads from last week to this week is incredible and to be perfectly honest it never ceases to baffle me.

I just don't get how there can be at least 80% more traffic on the roads during term time and the level if incompetence from some of these drivers is astounding.

It's like a mixture of pandemonium and jeopardy on them roads.

It takes a while for me to move from a temporary autonomous zone back into everyday reality. I'll have to manage my energy level today.
