a bowl of shrimp and vegetable stew from an untouched cauldron made by my mother earlier today.

i wouldn't have gotten near it if everyone else had a helping, but she went to so much trouble to make it and nobody else seemed to have any. so i felt guilty and downed some.

didn't want it to be all for naught. :|

Inca Corn, which is like a less refined version of Corn Nuts, toasted sprouted corn of a less standardized variety. I prefer it to the mainstream product, and I also like their Plantain Chips.

The absolute last thing, come to think of it, was a couple of cookies. I like chocolate covered shortbread cookies a lot, and I've tried some from various countries. I prefer the German ones to the British ones every time. If these are representative of the French take, big crumbs with chunky unrefined sugar and very sweet, they go at the bottom of the list. They're not bad, mind you.
