^ It's the same thing with the toilet seat. Geez Louise.

Evidently, its so difficult for people to close the seat that now they've made an easy close lid where you just tap it and it shuts slowly. Whatever.

~'It's not that you make an effort which makes you annoying. It's that you keep trying which makes you annoying'

A line along those lines was said in a dream which I recently woke up from.

I'm not good at any of the things I want to be good at and I'm only good at things that don't matter. Oh well.

William Blake and 'Angel by the wings' by Sia
_____

It bothers me how you can literally be in front of content for perhaps hours on end with commitment and with as much attention as you can muster but it still won't make learning the content any easier when you have a learning impairment. Learning impairments and the scarcity of what information you 'would like to' be exposed to. Content related to the technicalities of troubleshooting Apple products and an 'embedded apathy' as well as an active mind which will 'make stress' out of that which I probably shouldn't be prioritizing at this point.

^It's a quotation from Super Paper Mario. There's a character who talks in overly elaborate, nonsensical similes.

"And so I arrive, like a sudden windstorm at a kindergarten picnic!"

"Your blows are like tiny jackhammers wielded by tiny, angry road workers!"

"The next time we meet, we will feast on a deadly eight-course meal!"

"Ah, once again we meet, like two large, hairy vikings on a storm-tossed schooner!"

i often hear people say that sandy beaches are a rather recent phenomenon, that only came into fruition 200, 300 years ago, as fine sand was shipped from arabia and dumped all over the world to create the nice beaches we see today.

well, this is only partially correct. you see only saudi sand nowadays because the spanish overmined (and terribly mismanaged) chilean sand mines in the 1700s with such inefficient methods that saudis gained a monopoly on sand mining by 1800s. this also accounts for british interest in the middle east from this period onward. some parts of britain are indeed oversanded because some villages and landowners would devote significant expenditure for beach sanding. sanded beaches were not only highly prestigious status symbols but they were also good for local tourism and turtle egg industry. this is why you can always tell a poor area by how rough the beaches are. growing up, my grandad only had a glass of beach sand he kept on his book shelf and he had to hide it when relatives came over cause its value and because there was a hefty prison sentence.

I finally got around to crafting my own stuff. Now my Champion, Guardian and Hunter all have armor, shields and bows I made myself. Now I want to bring jeweler, scholar and weaponsmith up to at least T6. This about a video game if anyone wonders what I'm babbling on about.
