1886. This is what Creedonian country music sounds like. I am also including it in one of the episodes of Creedonian Life, a series I am writing.

The portion of the episode that this song is included goes something like this:

The general is on a trip to Vermont aboard a car ferry from Gregstown to Pownal, a town in Vermont. He meets a young woman who is no more than sixteen also happens to be sitting at the bar enjoying a few drinks. Unaware that she is with the general, she talks to him. This song comes on the music player, and being slightly intoxicated, asks him to dance with her. They dance. She asks him his name; he says that he is General Creedon. He asks her for her name. She tells him, and for the rest of the trip they talk to each other.
