^^ For what it's worth, I don't hate you, not one bit. I think you "think out loud" here, a lot. That can be confusing and seem inconsistent at times - and anyone's thinking can be sidetracked by emotional intensity and disagreements. But I really don't see you as hateful, Ez. Not at all. (Of course, I'm an old lady, so yippee woo hoo; but still, it counts for something ).

Edit in: I think out loud in print as well. A lot, here. It can annoy some people, if they prefer getting straight to the final point, and see explanations as side noise. I understand that preference. I've found though that it's kinder, usually, for me to include some explanation of any complex, or potentially controversial, thought process - not because people get lost otherwise, but because it's easier to relate to someone if you know *how* they came up with *that*. We can still disagree but hopefully it'll be more civil. Sometimes it works, not always.

You still do. Sometimes people just get "saturated" - this is a small community, we run into the same people repeatedly where we have common interests. I worry about wearing out my welcome here, quite often!

And if you disagree profoundly with somebody, it can be very tricky to navigate that - sometimes it heals if you agree elsewhere, sometimes it's best just to agree that you disagree pretty much everywhere, whether it's style or substance. Awkward, but real life.

You have an immense amount to offer here. Please don't be discouraged. If you have the time and it's not uncomfortable, would you consider looking at the transcript I posted in the News forum? the one released by Sen. Feinstein - and let me know what you think? There's a lot of stuff there, it's pretty convoluted, but it's worth a read if that kind of digging is something you're comfortable with. And I *would* enjoy hearing from you on it. I don't want you to agree with whatever position I might have - I want to know what you think and why.

It'll be easy to find, I almost never start threads here so that's the only one I've ever started in the news category. There's a lot of intro stuff, it's basically a court deposition so they have to do that, but the serious stuff starts about fifty pages in.

(Also, if you're good at forensics and enthusiastic about them, it may give you some encouraging ideas.)

Edit in: This is why I love the "playing" threads here. If I am just "all posted out" or feel like I've been a bit too much for people, I'll go play in the games forum. It's never failed me yet.
