Things are really tight at the moment. Will she phone, or leave me alone. 8O

People suck. It's starting to depress me.

It's funny how, when I was a child, I always turned off the volume in Pallet Town when I played Pokemon Red/Blue because the song that played always made me want to cry. I thought it was too "sweet".

However, as an adult, it doesn't make me want to cry at all - in fact, I really enjoy it. It manages to be cheerful and soothing at the same time.

Kinda reminds me of that same game, I used to hate it when I passed a trainer who wanted to battle. The sudden stop and the exclamation mark that appeared always made me jump!

Tea, coffee and water are my three favourite drinks.

Lately I've been enjoying songs that are remixed to sound like they're playing from a music box. My favorite is the remix of "Kimi Wo Nosete" from the anime movie Castle in the Sky. (I've never actually seen the movie, I just really love the song)

Anyway, when my mom listened to it, she said, "This sounds like Danny Elfman's music." Then I realized that that's exactly why I like the music box remixes.

My son is learning about pi in school and he thinks it's pretty cool. He tells me March 14th is pi day so I told him we could eat a pie. I'm thinking mint chocolate chip ice cream pie.

I am on break this week... no school... I am very pleased about this and am looking forward to being able to catch up on several things. I also got some more dirt today so I can get to starting more of my planting. Currently I feel very relaxed and optimistic as it has been a stressful few weeks and this time off is much needed... now if I can only keep my week uneventful and not try to do more than I ought to and destroy the whole serenity bit I have been looking forward to. Perhaps I shall keep a rolled up newspaper handy so if I get to being overly motivated, I can swat myself on the nose with it and reprimand myself, "Bad dossa! No excitement for you!" That would amuse me...

I used to have to drive a truck and it was HELL!
I still have nightmares about the brakes failing going down hills.

But I just had this flashback about these kids in the car in front of me.
They gave me (for the only time ever!) the 'Blow your horn' signal.
So I did.
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
It was awesome!

We waved and smiled.
I wonder where those kids are now?
They drove off into their future.

Not like my kids
my kids have no past and no present and no future
:(
