I really want to dye my hair red, but it is so dark that I will have to bleach it. My mom is opposed to me doing this. I'm 22 though, I should be able to make my own decision on this, right?

Well thank you as, it's image of an actual painting I recall seeing in an art museum when I was a young child.

Irritated most of the afternoon. I couldn't do what I had planned for today. I walked for a long time in the noise for nothing. Walking is fine, still tonic enough. So I did some shopping... And a friend joined me for a light beverage. We had a good laugh. Now home watching movies. It's ok not to do things planned as planned grr. Calm now anyway.

^ I love the quote in your signature, Danae

I think I'll take the plunge and color my hair. I'll at least do highlights.

Thank you TheSilentOne.

If you really want to dye your hair red on natural dark hair, friendly advice, don't do it yourself. Not if you've never done it. There are coloring stuff that aren't bleach, still there's ammonia that gets your hair lighter 2 to 4 tones. If you're more on the golden side than the ash side it'll be in the reds. Yet I have zero experience with dark hair. I did it for a friend who had mid to light brown hair. Maybe you could start with dark shades of red? Orange makes it look lighter than red but then again not a pro with dark shades. It took me years just for myself.

i am trying to work out what to think.
there are so many alternatives that present themselves as food for thought that i am unable to make a decision as to what line of thought i will follow, and thereby sacrifice all the rest for later consideration if i ever think about them again.

i think i will follow up a line of thoughts i want to explore pertaining to being able to fly the thunderbird 2 vehicle in flight simulator.
here is a shot of the basic model. it needs a complete redesign of it's configuration file in order to control it as it should be controlled to look and feel accurate. there are so many variables that it is exciting to embark on.

I've made a friend who sees me as more of a maternal figure. It's an adjustment, but not an uncomfortable one..,,

Contrary to some, I recognize my autism as a disability. I recognize my deficits in order to compensate for them how I am able.
