I watched Pandorum recently... about 4 or 5 times now actually... when I find a movie which I think is really neat, I tend to watch it until I memorize it. I have a better memory for recalling written text, but for things which are spoken or visual, I need to see repetitiously in order for me to absorb the details. With written text, my mind processes and stores the information much more rapidly, but my mind does not process that quickly for video or audio material. Some may find it annoying to watch the same movie a trillion times over, but really it is just my way of being able to remember the movie.

Milhouse: I never knew that your father was into science.
Homer: Science??
Bart: Uh, he didn't say "science"! He said "pie pants"!
Homer: Mmm! Pie pants...

^ Hehehe wait until you get to the last one. The LotR movies were a special interest of mine and even I was praying for the end of RotK.

Because Dances with Smurfs sucked?

Random: none of it matters, really. It's just moving from one mess to the next.

No, because Avatar lost Best Picture to Hurt Locker--directed by his ex-wife.
