(No silly throwing knives for me! If you can't stick a hunting knife, there's no point in playing.)

That was so fast I had to watch it 3 times to see it. Cool.

^ Welcome back!

It's kind of ironic... I've spent my time since my move to California without forming any social bonds or making any friends and was much happier that way. Now, however, I find myself in a situation where a family member or a close friend would be an extremely useful thing to have and I realize why people form bonds. People form bonds so they have someone to fall back on when they hit hard times. People form bonds to fill a need of their own: need for socialization, need for advice, need to feel liked, need to have "connections" in order to get a job, need for help of some sort as in my case - to have somewhere to stay if everything else falls apart. Some people may form bonds with the intent of helping someone else but for the most part this is a purely selfish act. I would not make a friend for this reason. But it would certainly be handy right about now.

The coffee that I've been drinking, almost killed me, this morning.

Thanks. :D I have been on (sometimes), but I just haven't been posting on the forums and threads I usually do.

New avatar! I'd had the old one for over a year, time for a big change. I've gone from an old Asian man with his eyes closed to an old Asian man with his eyes open! Call me wild and reckless or what?

The point-form version of my literature review is about 3 times as long as it needs to be. Much condensing is in order.
