My phobia of ***** is so bad that I seldom leave the house in April, or any month with rain. I can't even look at pictures of them or say the word without panic attacks. They are vile monsters who live in soil and appear when it rains.

I'm sorry to hear you suffer such indignities..

Thanks, kazanscube! I know it's irrational. I'd happily overcome it if I could, but that's never going to happen. Phobias are very strange manifestations, indeed.

I am really glad to know I am not the only one! It makes no sense! I have a fear of clowns and a fear of those little creatures and everyone I know just makes relentless fun of this... I cannot laugh about this at all!

One of these people is someone who is afraid of butterflies. This is not a joke

I am scared of frogs too. The other day I saw a toad shaped stone, picked it up before I realised it looked like a frogand screamed like hell and tossed it. The kids around me were laughing at my reaction. But I hate them. When the buggers start croacking in the night on the farm i visit often I hardly leave the house..

Thank you! It means a lot to me to see other people having to deal with the same issue! I even remember when it got triggered! I was four and was at my grandmother’s house by the lake when we hiked through the woods around the lake! In the midst of one of them was a little creek with what seemed to have hundreds of those things! Well, let us just say that i stepped on of them and the sensation never really left my mind

Mine was seemingly innate. Mother says I screamed even as a toddler in my buggy if I saw them. My fear has been exploited and reinforced beyond imagination, so I can't even begin to let it go.

"To make myself feel a bit better and secure about my future (this relates to a talk I had with my brother over night-time) I'm going to list some jobs I can do with my to-be certification as it says on my college website.I'm not going to comment on the likelihood of me doingthem,b/c that's too negative....

-Business Systems Support
-Web Master
-Database Support
-Technical Writer
-Technical Support Specialist
-User Training

to add

-Programming support (?)
-Web technician(?)

On the positive,I'd certainly like to be a technical writer but how common is that job?.Aughhow common are writing jobs anyways?,b/c I want in."

Old excerpt--the last old excerpt I would expect to quote from online anti-pornography journal(s).

I would like to shoehorn an addendum to the Benjamin Franklin quote "In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes. “-- excrement and family also.

Darn stimming

Part of me is really upset to a degree how much time my parents (particularly my mom in my mind) watch stuff related to UFO's, aliens, secret societies and how it could possibly relate to religious factors; :| how come so much potentially conspiratorial stuff can be so much more appeal than exploring and/or dialoging about emotion self-understanding.
