I won't be too surprised, if it is not already a thing that when it comes to the academic comic studies that there will be an influx of studies on newspaper comics given the nature of journalism currently, arguable decrease in journalistic publications and the presence of the arguably 'descendent' of the newspaper comic, the web comic.

:| That home maintenance course I signed up for..I really ought to get around to looking through books related to that course much sooner than later.

47% of U.S. smartphone owners say their smartphone is something they "couldn't live without."

Just wanted to let y'all know that today is National Coming Out Day for the LGBT+ community!
One day I hope theres no such thing as "coming out" anymore. Everyone should just love who they love without having to worry about hate.

^I agree

My brother is gay and he is 9 years older than me. As a young child, I witnessed bricks being thrown through the windows because of the hate against him. He did nothing wrong.

How can people deny someone love? Judge someone for loving someone? When my parents told me my brother was gay, I was 5 years old. In my brain, I just accepted it immediately, said "Okay" and never thought anything wrong about it. The next day, I went to school and proudly told it. They told me my brother would burn in hell for what he was, and I told them I would go with him with a big smile on my face. Always was a Wolf and will always stay one. But honestly, it leaves a mark on you. All that hate.

I live in the Netherlands, known for the acceptance of gay people. I noticed that...

I tried coming out to my mum as Trans one time. She's still in denial. I don't plan on doing it again any time soon. My mum's too proud to be a woman to think that I'm any different from her when in fact, the truth is that we're so different it's like we're night and day.

Aww, what kind of bug?

If it's a cricket or a cockroach, they are sweethearts.

If it's a spider, lord have mercy on your soul :P

They eat their partners! They also bite Esmereldas! Pure evil :skull:

These things give me the creeps, as they always have since I was a child to a full grown adult. Yes, i know it's silly as something so small could cause such fear and unpleasantness.

I feel so useless. I'm scared that the government job that i'm going to apply is no different than working in a law office. I really want to work since seeing my dad work so hard at his age makes me feel guilty. I want to be able to work so he doesn't have to try so hard.
