^It's a wonderful feeling! I used to get distracted a lot when i was reading, and not understand what i read. But nowadays it seems as though i always want to read, and i can concentrate enough to read even on a crowded bus!

I was just thinking, and it's weird how every type of meat can taste exactly the same. For example, beef you eat today could taste exactly the same as it did in a meal you had ten years ago, even though it isn't from the same cow. If you ate humans, they would probably taste the same as each other, too. That's surprising to think of because you would expect them to taste different, especially when everyone smells different.

You could use two or more chickens in one meal and not notice if you have meat from both in your mouth instead of only from one. You don't think "This bit must be Barbara" or "I think this is Henrietta now."

I can't even remember what made me think of this. Now I wonder why I've never thought of it before.

I f---g hate it when the questions of a cloying, questionable addict uncle consist of "..you should have 3 or 4 girlfriends" by now. Such remark might work in a 'joking light' when one is a toddler but given that one doesn't ever develop into exploring non-monogamous relationships, it's a sickening masculine power fantasy and deeply anti-feminist in a way--a demonstration of how annoying it is to be seen not to differently from when you might not even have been a decade old by relatives you seldom see or would like to see.

There are more public libraries than McDonald's in the U.S.

I have a cat on my lap and I can't get up-and don't want to! (Cecil, you have it right. A cat on your lap is one of the most comforting things.)

What South Asians represent to me at this point is the 'vertical mosaic'.

When it comes to overcoming personal psychopathologies and ‘dissolving the self'

Of course you don’t need religion…

You wake up everyday needing to be productive or else you…

You wake up everyday needing to be productive, needing mindfulness or else you…

You wake up everyday needing to be productive, needing mindfulness to be ‘conjured up’ by nothing but authentic and full caring and effort within your mind or else you…

Not uncommonly 'mass marketed/institutionalized’ major life reveals and/or theories of mind which call you insensible for not following them, butt in on what little ‘space for expression’/space for embracing individual active intuition/ breathing room for needing mindfulness to be ‘conjured up’ by nothing but authentic and full caring and effort within your mind or else you … *remains*.

Hence ‘you make your own religion each day’.

Don’t be a dumba— and forget epistemic responsibility, please.

One “move your arm for f—k’s sake” so far— from someone who once craved to working on the advance voting days before, that is not ‘too bad’ as far as ongoing customer service goes. I apologized afterwards as well.

The movie ‘Paterson’ to me represents what an ‘adventure’ in domesticity would likely look like with some changes (for instance factoring how I don’t drink and preferably without a suicide attempt present).
