The reception of the 'immigration problem' in 'Children of men' highlights a very real problem within aging populations..even ones that are not 'ethnocentric'; sustainability and where people are spread thin.

Non-belief is a privilege.

Looking back at the way I was in 2009, I wonder why I didn't change sooner than 2016.

When it comes to an 'inferiority complex', I might have...when I watched 'War for the planet of the apes' last year, a movie which I found 'sickly' carthatic..that skirmish around the beginning..I vicariously thought of the soldiers as Apple customers calling in to a support center and the retaliation of the apes as what I really felt and felt like doing to the customers for the quasi-common verbal assault which I felt at times..a 'Darwinian power fantasy' because ultimately we are apes, technically..accepting that at least in scientific terms we're apes is part of being human..but when it's unhealthy is when you consistently think of yourself as some 'lowly' animal, a 'lowly' aggressive animal who will never be accepted let alone understood by the other 'acceptable[/successful] humans'/apes you share being a species with because you yourself apparently have no rights..the insidious undertone there is classism and just about any sort of discrimination or prejudice you can think of not the least racialization and one spot of where self-shaming and self-blaming go for me when I 'power fantasize' extrapolate/exaggerate or catastrophizing things..

Feeling like an automaton or machine because of work can substitute in for most of what I said before about feeling like an animal.

I’m glad, I have not lapsed into pornography—self investment can apply to the posting I made about my take on ~’going back to school’.

I'm embarrassed to say that I have used my new phone as an excuse for watching cat videos and tennis matches.

I've decided to shave 2 afternoon hours off my TV time and spend those hours here on WP. I've noticed that each time I watch Dr. Phil, I question the things that I do. I shouldn't do that. I'm a good person. A lot of his guests are real monsters. I have a new rule that I'm not allowed to watch Dr Phil and that I should be making myself happy during that hour instead.

I would feel like one of the less ideologized WP members if ? :? ..

I would feel like one of the less (..politically(?)..aware) WP members if ? :? ..

After having read this disturbing article and the ableism brought up http://www.cracked.com/article_25952_5- ... eople.html , I think to myself how history, 'global' history can be seen a struggle towards equity and the mindfulness to accompany it..it's not only about tech.

After having read this article, I believe more how history, 'global' history can be seen a struggle towards equity and the mindfulness to accompany it..it's not only about tech.

If it was only or mainly about tech, how come some elements of what was mentioned still remain ubiquitous (parallel
example: all the tech and overt wealth of the Gulf Arab states and yet what can be said about gender equity and other human rights for that matter?--not only labourers).

Never underestimate how being in a position where you feel like you consistently have to be teaching your parents stuff can really carve and impact your attitude--a message from the children of immigrants to 'establishment majority' Caucasians who don't really seem to 'get it'/how not settling for less on the 'vertical mosaic' can bother some ppl more than others.

I admit, if it isn't already 'plain enough' how much (*Confessional*) of my ranting and fixation on human rights violations not being meet is the 'alternate expression' of what could otherwise be implemented in being assertive and not stressing about ripple effects.

Something arguably ableist which happened at a call center was how ppl were put off enough by my occasional stammer that they would request to speak with someone else--it .p.o.'s me how there not ppl who are 'broad minded' enough to think that a stammer is no more indicative of a person's character than there accent is ( I did become more self-aware of how I have a Canadian accent during that time). This even happened when I spoke with someone who was 'hard of hearing'.

What might make me less likely to type and be around here is if, like with my old 'meat-space' journal entries, I read what I typed out-loud, recorded it and listened to myself at some point.
