A Jehovah's Witness once told me that JWs can't be hypnotised, because hypnotism was demonic and the demons could not enter them because of divine protection from Jehovah.

I once had a Babtist Sunday School teacher tell me that the creatures on pokemon cards were little demons because they were made in Japan and Japanese people are evil for not believing in Jesus.

Religous fanatics say the darnest things.

I find it funny how JWs say fairytales are stories from the devil, and will quote stuff from the bible to back up their claims, when the bible is the biggest book of fairytales around, IMO.

Maybe give it another few thousand years and it will be an abandoned religion just like Greek Pantheons?

Maybe it will be replaced by a new religion of followers of the teachings of Oprah Winfrey (The Oprahists) and Ellen Degeneres (The Ellenites) who will become sworn enemies who kill each other in the name of their two faiths?

All religions seem to become corrupted.
My mother worships Benny Hinn and doesn't even care that he's been publicly exposed as a fraud.
She'll say that's satan trying to pull the wool over people's eyes.

I think all things human are prone to corruption. It's like Gladriel said in The Fellowship of the Ring "The hearts of man are easily corrupted".

Can't help thinking the Earth would be a much bettter place without people.

Nature has its own wars without man.

Well, I'm happy to pop off and let nature go at it.

I doubt the critters in nature would ever figure out how to destroy the world with bombs.

But yeah, I sometimes feel like the Earth would be so much better off if we humans vanished or never even existed. Reminds me of this poem I heard once:

There will come soft rains and the smell of the ground,
And swallows circiling with their shimmering sound;

And frogs in the pool singing at night,
And wild plum trees in tremulous white,

Robins will wear their feathery fire
Whistling their whims on a low fence wire;

You never know, I am calling the dinosaur's asteroid impact a conspiracy theory to cover up nuclear war between pterodactyls and Tyrannosauruses

I mean sure we didn't like each other at first because of our differences but we slowly learned to accept each other over time before the asteroid came.
