Lol.
I like the speech/lines. Yeah it is like 'War of the Worlds'. We listened to that in music class at school. I think it was a bit ruined because we actually knew it wasn't real and were told the story.
I'm watching a documentary on Shakespeare right now. It's making me think. Nowadays spoilers are a big 'no-no' in the world of writing/reading/stories in general. When Shakespeare was writing, plays were either comedy (not funny but meaning 'this has a happy ending') or tragedy (meaning 'this has an unhappy ending'). I bet they didn't have any concept of spoilers (or anything similar in Elizabethan/Jacobean English language).
I quite like spoilers anyway, they let me focus on how the writer constructed the story and the writing style/acting style etc as it unfolds.
(Or I might be completely stupid and maybe your average groundling didn't know a play was a comedy when entering the Globe)

Can see every government across the entire planet trying that soon, except that this ain't like earlier times, even threat of death via gunshot(s) ain't enough to make the masses now down to such a degree.

Gigantic middle finger would be the response to that, to which they would have no response, because there's too many people for them to take on with guns alone. People are not quite so easily controlled now, not with threats anyway :)

I have an interest in Asian culture, mostly Japanese and Chinese.

And when I say Japanese culture I don't mean anime and manga. I can't stand most of those! They don't reflect the true culture of Japan at all!

I'm more interested in things like the traditional kimono or modern trends like ganguro and lolita fashions, the onne bugeisha warriors, the samurai, the shinobi and kunoichi, the geisha girls and the modern equivalents known as "hostesses", the yakuza mafia, the beautiful flowers they grow such as cherry blossoms, the various dolls and masks they have, shintoism, the monsters in Japanese folklore such as the onryo and ningyo, the rebuilding of their country after World War 2, etc.

There's so much to love about the country besides their silly cartoons and comic books! They are a beautiful country with a rich culture and strong, intelligent, and amazing people. 8)

Btw I have a thing for slavic men. They're so sexy and manly! I love their accents and deep voices.

Italian men are sexy too!

I have a thing for black men, whatever their nationality. Particularly toned and stocky (not TOO stocky) bald black men with a "ghetto booty" :D

I generally just like stocky or toned men with little or no head hair, I like white stocky or toned men to have a lot of but not too much body hair

Black men though (and women but not as much as men)

I too have a thing for Oriental women! (Men too, but not as much. Kinda the flip of my preference for black people lol)

Might not be PC, but PC can suck it!

PS. They're just preferences, my attractions are not limited solely to my favourite preferences, or even my preferred gender

After months of humming and harring about it I've finally scheduled my Facebook for permanent deletion. I certainly will not miss it!

Autism(including Aspergers is not the end of the world, dramatic music plays) I can't see how there are many people whom think Autism and all of it's variants are somehow likened unto the plague or some other worldwide contagion. irrational persons
