For my chicken and dumplings the southern style canned biscuits work best. Other biscuit dough doesn't turn out right.

But I can cook a lot of stuff. :chef:

I want a boyfriend some day who I can cook for. Ever since I started dieting I rarely get to cook like I used to. :(

I think what you guys in Australia and the UK call biscuits we call cookies.

Here's what our biscuits look like.

They're not sweet at all.

Wow, assumption really is the mother of all f ups! Don't ask me why, but I just assumed you were American and living there still! (In my defence, I think the majority of WP users are American or living there, many who aren't either but I'm certain the majority are/do!)

They're scones (or that's what we call them). They're slightly sweet, mostly!

Ours really aren't sweet, they're kind of buttery and flaky. Like a dinner roll. :)

That's ok, most people assume American unless told otherwise and I don't have my location on my profile.

Must be an American thing

It's an Uncle Ben's thing so technically it is I guess but I'm British.
I think it's an aspie thing/me thing to just have it as a dish but if you don't have a big appetite and want something filling and get the chance of it, it is good. It's meant to be a side dish but it fills a bowl.
I think the plain Uncle Ben's rice is either for greedy people or for sharing because it's the same as that which I have for a meal only just rice. Or it's for aspies like I used to be who (unhealthily) want to just eat a bowl of rice and soy sauce.

I don't like the Uncle Ben's kind I prefer my homemade version. :chef:

And the chicken and rice I cook is a whole meal not a side dish. Lol

Yours sounds nicer but I can't cook meat yet.
I need a class in it or something. Mum's vegetarian so she refuses to teach me.

Maybe the reason we sometimes walk into another room and then forget what we were going to do is because there was a space alien in the room, and they erased our memory of us seeing them and escaped.
