I think what you guys in Australia and the UK call biscuits we call cookies.

Wow, assumption really is the mother of all f ups! Don't ask me why, but I just assumed you were American and living there still! (In my defence, I think the majority of WP users are American or living there, many who aren't either but I'm certain the majority are/do!)

Ours really aren't sweet, they're kind of buttery and flaky. Like a dinner roll.

It's an Uncle Ben's thing so technically it is I guess but I'm British.
I think it's an aspie thing/me thing to just have it as a dish but if you don't have a big appetite and want something filling and get the chance of it, it is good. It's meant to be a side dish but it fills a bowl.
I think the plain Uncle Ben's rice is either for greedy people or for sharing because it's the same as that which I have for a meal only just rice. Or it's for aspies like I used to be who (unhealthily) want to just eat a bowl of rice and soy sauce.
I don't like the Uncle Ben's kind I prefer my homemade version.

Maybe the reason we sometimes walk into another room and then forget what we were going to do is because there was a space alien in the room, and they erased our memory of us seeing them and escaped.
