Learned the fingering for the finale of "N. Paganini: Caprice No. 24" on guitar today, which now means I know the entire piece's fingering by memory. All that's left is practicing until I get the finale up to perfect speed, and then I'll have the whole thing down... and then get to spend years perfecting it and many other complex pieces I'd love to learn.

My father just let me know he sent me a camping bedroll through amazon that should be here tomorrow. I usually get annoyed when he sends me things without asking, but sleeping on the hard office carpeted floor here for the last week has been almost unbearable. I'm quite grateful despite having to decide on how I'll get rid of it just before I leave in about a week.

The school I go to is in a really wooded area and there's a herd of deer that are very used to the students milling about. They'll let you get close and I have a lot of good photos of them on my phone. Today I saw seven of the does walking through the campus. They're so pretty and peaceful :D
