I can relate actually. I feel very guilty for posting there and usually feel it just makes people think more lowly of me then they already do. Sometimes I don't really care though, I can't just hide my brokenness, thats not going to help.

I used to be in a lot of other sites (i.e. Instagram, Chatango, Facebook...) but people kept saying on Chatango that "your not a true pokemon fan unless your first Pokemon game was either Red Blue or Yellow, witch is really mean! They said it was because I got spoiled on the fancy graphics and bogus pokemon, but no! I can enjoy gen 1 too!

^I'm sorry. They are wrong in saying that. There's something called the No True Scotsman fallacy, which basically means saying that someone is not a "true" something because they don't do a certain thing. I think that's what those people are doing.

This year is the first year that I've made a thread in The Haven in 2 years. I was convinced at the end of last year that all was good, nothing was going to change and I wouldn't need to start threads in The Haven anymore.
