Once upon a time ppl use to think of warfare as inevitable or ’natural’ and hence military conscription/being drafted was a thing. There are always tasks to do in that role apparently. In the future ppl might say that once upon a time ppl use to think that labouring or working more than 15 hours was inevitable or ’natural’. Those ppl might think and live like ‘hippies’ but if it means they actually got to a position where that is feasible and things are equitable, good for them.
In the future ppl will be the wiser to see how nearly all depictions of violence, warfare and organized violence were basically done by ppl with 'gang mentalities'. In the future ppl will be the wiser in understanding 'gang mentalities' and how it can be transposed or projected onto all depictions of violence, warfare and organized violence. In the future ppl will be the wiser that by understanding how ppl got carried away by 'gang mentality' in carrying out violence and hence depictions of violence, warfare and organized violence will seem as repugnant as public executions are to us now.
I really love that! I wish more people saw it that way.
