I am feeling re-triggered by a very sad n horrifying news article i read today n yesterday
I am falling back into that headspace
I owe it to mySElF to forgive n move on
Some ppl are capable of NOT forgiving , n moving on without it affecting them badly
I am not like that

The problem with that is, you could be pushing away genuine people who actually care, and still do, but are understandably unwilling to trust u again to be friends with you. I find it's a much worse pain to live with to realise what u had and threw away, than it is for them to throw away a decent friendship with a decent person.

If u truly feel friendship is a farce, best not to make friends anymore, that way you will avoid both
