Most of the genetic changes and muscle memory spurred by exercise are lost by a month or two of no training, a study found.

My cat's waterbowl has two dishes, one on each side and she will only drink from one of them even if it is empty and the other is full of water. I put her cat food on a different plate than usual today because her usual plates were in the dishwasher and she wouldnt eat it lol.

That's really cute. My dog has two food bowls like that, on a holder. A big piece of his food fell between the bowls and he couldn't reach in between to get it, because of the steel frame. He stared at the bowls for about ten minutes unsure what to do before I noticed what had happened. He's so polite. I thought he was meditating or something. :P

I'm sorry that happened, but just remember you're more important than your car.

That might be true of some people, but let's be fair - my car is useful and can support a family of 4, maybe even 5 if the kids are small. The same isn't true of me, I'm not useful and can't even support myself.

I suspect the probability that Socrates may have had inspiration from well outside what is today known as Greece. I haven't yet found any evidence to support my speculation.

If you're looking into why Greek philosophy took off when it does, looking to China is off the mark; focus on Persia. The Greeks hated the Persians in the same way English hated the French from ~1100 onwards, and with a similar willingness to borrow from their culture without ever admitting that was the source of the influence.

Much of Eurasia owes a cultural debt to the Persians and other Iranic peoples. India and Europe and even China and further east. The invaders who established themselves as the ruling aristocracy in Greater India were ultimately from that region and shared cultural ties; considering that's the cultural group within that region that The Buddha was born into, it seems to explain similarities between Buddhism and the Iranic faiths, as well as the gnostic faiths that were inspired from them.

I used to believe the position you've expressed, but over time and due to research this is the position I'm now on.

Legendary England international goalkeeper Gordon Banks, famous for being part of the 1966 World Cup winning England team, and a legendary save from a Pelè shot in an England vs Brazil WC match in 1970, has died aged 81. R.I.P to probably the best English goalkeeper of all time! :(

Hey, hey, hey, I can understand that sentiment and I have felt like that myself due to the ineffectiveness of some of the job coaches I have as well, as there was no economic diversity in the areas I've lived in up to this point..Don't give up..
