It's easier to not be a quitter. :P

The Discworld books work so well as an anthology series because 1) comedy, 2) the books are written to be standalone yet still interconnected, being able to be read in any order, and 3) Change was gradual.

I am surprised that it hasn't been adapted into (even better) cartoons and movies as with Tom Clancy stuff.

'Tomorrowland' and 'Fant4stic' were both movies which were promising but underdeveloped.

Around after midnight I watched 'Wisecrack's' take on Donnie Darko. I remember watching the '8 bit cinema' take on it, which is creepy enough on it's own >~< ...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7X17t1PSZU.

Memories of how during the earlier 00's when we moved in with relatives, watching one of the few channels on TV before cable was installed. The 'on demand trailers' channel and freaking out with cousins when Frank appeared. Still have not seen the movie fully but know of it.

I was getting groceries and decided to check the perfumes

I tried the tester of Chanel Allure and It was beyond heavenly
I called my mom n told her about it n said whenever you can u shd try it

I was thinking if I was married that wd be the perfume I wd wear

That made me think of when I was married the main perfume my XH liked on me was surprisingly the least expensive one
It was Britney Spears Fantasy (pink bottle)

I didn’t particularly like it but he thought it was sexy n so on n that was his fave perfume

So I had some extra cash n I tried to look fr it

They were no longer selling it but they did have a newer version (white bottle) Called Fantasy Intimate Edition

It gave me a headache but it also soothed me (interesting combination! Oxymoron?)

I read online that a lady uses it to cslm her down as she has PTSD.

I dont know why it both gives me a headache n makes me feel good/calm

The Chanel one I tried fr fun (obviously i cannot afford it) was beautiful but it doesnt SOOTHE you it makes u wish that u were married so ur husband could appreciate it

This one is cheap n soothes me i think i must be allergic to an ingredient as it also gives me a headache

My sons therapist was sad today(although she seemed resigned her spirits were subdued compared to her normal)
Her husband wished her daughter a happy valentines but not her

They live in different countries due to a lot of trouble (long story but it is nobody’s fault ) n he cannor even meet his daughter as a result except once in a few yrs

I felt sad fr her so i tried extra hard to cheer her
She is one of those ppl who appreciates the smallest gesture of goodwill
N remembers it n holds a person in high esteem no matrer what

IE she is very kind loving n deserving
I wish her husband had jusr made the teensiest effort
All she wanted was fe him to wish her too...
I think bcuz of all the practical problems he is depressed n they had decided to ‘separate’ as a couple last year but i guess she still loves him

Women love deeper than men thats what I believe
If u throw a few crumbs of affection our wAy we will do everything we can to make u happy in every way we can imagine

Considering many men express the same in regards to man, and you're not the first woman to express this regarding women, it might be a matter of some people are more loving and more in need of their love to be reciprocated, and as a result they'll accept crumbs. It also makes them more prone to rejecting or ignoring or distrusting when someone reciprocates as much as they might actually need, they're unprepared and don't feel they deserve it.

Guys might be more prone to turning hostile though, whereas women seem more likely to just detach and leave that craving unfulfilled.

Two years ago, I had someone working for me who decided that she wanted to go out and do it herself. I told her she was not ready, and really did not know the job. But she resented...well a lot of things...and bitterly quit as as I terminated her. She stole a lot of my clients when she went, which sort of hurt at the time. Those clients did not realize that she was only the "face" of the services and that most of the rest of the work was done by others on the team.

So yesterday I heard that she quit. Just dumped her client files into the state agency, leaving work undone and clients without care.

I feel sorry for the clients, but I also feel vindicated in my assessment that she could not do the job.

However, what I missed, early on with her, was that she was going to be unable to learn the job...ever.

Wow. I don't know if I agree with you on that one. I find most men are very smitten once they're in love, and most women have the fortitude to move on. I got roses today from someone I've been politely declining for a long time. He says it makes him feel good. I wonder if ASD would play a part in who loves deeper or less deeply?
