The world isn't going to change at the snap of my fingers. Transgender people will still be given a lot of wrath mostly by their own families and parents will still be abusing their children in the year 3000.

I love Ringo, to this day. Do you remember Mad Magazine parodying him as the Breck Girl?

I have a copy of that particular magazine with that ad tucked away somewhere.

:-) :-) :-)

I still remember how I looked forward to their "Star Trek" parody and never got it, because I had a subscription (a gift from my Aspie dad) and apparently someone STOLE that issue - it was never delivered to my home.

I can probably find it online nowadays, so I think I'll go looking, now that my memory has been rebooted :-)

Very nice avatar, there, too.

Today i learnt that when tiling something, ensure to spread the adhesive evenly over the surface beforehand, as my boss has demonstrated that just blobbing a bit of adhesive on the back and sticking tiles on that way will cause the corners to crack and break.

Not that i can ever imagine me tiling anything within this lifetime anyways, but still good to know

They once had a real live cow at Disneyland named Minnie Moo, who happened to have three big black spots on one side of her body that looked uncannily like Mickey Mouse. Other than that she was about as interesting as any other cow, but I guess she was a hit with a lot of die-hard Disney fans. She died of natural causes at the age of 15.

Imagine how surprised they'll read "Thou shall not steal".

I learned that kidneys shut down if you drink too much salt water, i knew it was bad - i just didn't know exactly what would happens if you did.

In 1997, 685 Japanese children were rushed to hospitals after a Pokemon episode caused vomiting, dizziness, and seizures.

^In said episode, it was the unusual flashing animation used for Pikachu's electric attacks that were the cause, not the Porygon featured in the episode as many people believe.

Kansas is not the flattest state in the United States. Florida is.

I know, and yet Porygon has apparently been banned from the series ever since.
