Cool! Check out the Pokemon cards I just got!

Image

The Blastoise card is actually really sparkly when you look at it IRL. (Blastoise has the type advantage against Charizard! )

The Jynx card is really cute, the one who got them for me looked specifically for a Jynx card since she is one of my favorite Pokemon. That was so sweet!

Once again, I am thinking about degus - in a non-erotic manner. Unfortunately, my stupid landlord prohibits residents from keeping pets in their rooms.

I desperately need a pet because I am completely starved of company.

I don't know I am more sensitive to touch and lights or should I say I don't like them. Fans kill me and for that matter I'll just go ahead say I don't like the prospect of smoking much. Its harsh and I can never do it right and not die. So yeah stuff is fine in terms of audio but I was deaf at some point so it would be funny if I have trouble hearing but had sensory problems that make it normal.

My ears hurt a bit now cause I am rocking out and I know its form of self harm but I love music too much to care.

^ Are you referring to weed? I smoke it and it does wonders for my sensitivities. I also get migraines and weed is also the best medicine (for me) that I've tried. Sight only really bothers me at work, I think because it's fluorescent lighting but I'm not sure. Some days I stare at the ground when I walk cause I can't look straight ahead. The only tactile issues I have is on my neck which rarely gets touched. It doesn't hurt but it feels similar to tickling the roof of your mouth with the tip of your tongue. My fingertips are weird, I can feel and sense just find with them but they feel little pain. I can pick up hot food straight out of the pan or oven with little discomfort.

Listening to music helps me deal with the sound sensitivity. I wear both headphones and I turn the music up loud enough to just drown out the background noise. I couldn't deal with the pain by having them too loud. I do enjoy the sensation of pressure on my gums or biting my cheek/lip.

Wow contrary to what my reputation might say about me not every post I make is about marijuana. I was referring to smoking anything, tobacco, weed and anything else included. However yes weed is great for sensitivities problems, I completely agree and I have seen evidence a lot of people feel this way. I don't know why in the medical states they fight against marijuana for autistic people so much. I think the only reason is people associate autism with children and they think people want to get kids high. Its all in context to me, I don't believe every child with autism needs cannabis. That would be as ugly as ritalin for ADHD but drug use to me should be measures against alternatives. A little more common sense in the drug department would be nice.

Going to karaoke. I have to go in a makeshift version of my Halloween costume, but oh well. :D

What do you mean by getting older?I had a cat which lived to 19yrs of age so, you should not worry as aging is something normal in the world, even human beings like you & me age.

Mine is in his senior years as well and his age shows. He's family to me and I'm going to miss him so much when his time comes.

Yes, I honorably & sincerely understand that feeling as, the family cat Archie passed away last April and it was a very unpleasant feeling. Pet friends can be like family to us, in that they are unconditional unlike humans.

You will enjoy the memory of your cat as well, did you not emotionally come to terms with the inevitable death of your pet?

dcj123, I'll say this in a honest yet compassionate manner, I knew of my own mortality and those around me a long time ago and came to terms of acceptance & acknowledgement of such.

I agree. Sorry to hear about Archie.
