I bought a box of rifled slugs today (12 gauge); best $10 you can spend. I'm going to try and buy a box each payday and hoard them (I don't need to shoot them, as I know the point of impact at various ranges, and at 50 meters it's point and hit).

For some reason, I just feel safe with slugs and a shotgun. Buckshot just doesn't make the same feeling.
