My son said this yesterday for no apparent reason :
"The number green is not as amazing as the color 6."

Well, thank you Taupey :) . What I said about my mother is true, but I just think it's funny. I actually only figured out a few years ago that I had been confusing approval for love. Oh and btw, I've been meaning to say, if you move to the Eastern Shore, watch out for those deer flies! 8O They can bite through thick athletic socks.

That one made a kind of semantic sense too. At least I got a picture in my mind. It's funny to think though, as I've tried to come up with a couple (without success) that what you're trying to do is really hard. It's like the mind finds an attempt to do otherwise repellent.

I never realised that I have reached the 3000 post milestone.

My son said this yesterday for no apparent reason :

i do not know what it means.
colors and numbers are loosely related in my head, but i have never framed a thought about it.

1 is white
2 is yellow
3 to me is green.
4 is red
5 is brown
6 (to me) is silver
7 is blue grey
8 is black
9. is pure blue
10. is orange.

i am sorry i can not decipher the meaning of what your son said.
how old is he?

green and 6 are not amazing to me because i see them everywhere, but your son may have a perception beyond what i can comprehend.

anyway.....

He's 12. I think he was just trying to say something that didn't make sense to amuse himself.

that one scared me a bit when i reread it and tried to see if any meaning was derivable from it. it paints an eerie picture in my mind in a distant kind of way.

well i would ask him exactly what the meaning of what he said was.
i would be interested to see if he is aware of something that i am not.

it is not a silly thing to say, so i would not leave it at that.

The clouds are pink and yellow -the terrain is desert rocks and devoid of plants. That's my picture anyway.
